Saunter continues
its meteoric rise and holds securely its acclaimed status
as North Carolina's longest running completely unknown
original band. But Saunter has big news. Just For You.
The new album, "Bustin' Loose", is out. It's
all over this website. You can't miss it.
The last album, Excuses, moved 2500 copies, got great
local airplay on 96Rock, college stations, and podcasts
around the country. We hope to continue building on
this success...
Wanna preview other songs and maybe snap up a couple
from iTunes?
The person most responsible for the continued obscurity
is founder Matthew Davis,
lead singer, guitar, and primary composer. His vocal
melodies give Saunter its hook.
The player behind the horn is Brian Buzby. His mild demeanor has won over many a fan,
and his touch on the brass is sublimely rock and roll.
Behind the drum kit is John
Crusoe whose straight-up beats provide the drive
behind the melody.
Cameron Dye joins
Saunter on bass after years of fun with other local
bands. He's got very quick fingers..
Paul Sanders plays
the Hammond organ and keys, which provide the glue to
Saunter's unique sound. He ties it all together and
makes the music whole.
